Cudahy police officers investigating a reported sexual assault of a child committed by a 41-year-old man. State Patrol troopers attempted to stop the man just south of State Highway 60 as investigators from multiple local and federal law enforcement agencies prepared to serve a search warrant. Police said they approached the vehicle and the man pulled a gun. One trooper fired their handgun, striking the vehicle but not the driver.Police claim the man then shot and killed himself with his weapon.
