La Habra police officers attempted to stop the driver of a vehicle on suspicion of driving under the influence, police said. The vehicle initially began to stop near the area of Harbor Boulevard and Arbolita Drive in La Habra, but then abruptly took off at a high rate of speed. Police escalated a chase that until the vehicle crashed into a second vehicle in the intersection of Fullerton Road and Aguiro Street, caught on fire, killing both the driver and passenger of the fleeing vehicle.
