Late Saturday morning, dispatchers began receiving reports of neighbors hearing gunshots coming from a residence on the 1400 block of Third West Hill Drive. Great Falls PD found one person dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The shooter had left the residence just minutes before they arrived and had been seen speeding to Valier. A Pondera County Sheriff’s deputy found the truck on Highway 44 near Conrad driving away heading west and deputies began chasing after him. The man allegedly shot two rounds at deputies. Investigations revealed that jail medical staff failed to conduct the required wellness checks every 10 minutes. Additionally, there were attempts to falsify log documents after her death. Border Patrol allege that they saw what looked like undocumented migrants being loaded into a BMW and they began chasing the vehicle. The vehicle avoided a traffic stop and initially fled but came to a stop. CBP smashed the rear and front windows with a baton and grabbed the man. Several occupants ran from the vehicle, were handcuffed, were polite and cooperative and not a threat to officers. Police allege that the driver reversed and was shot and killed. This is not seen on BWC as the end of the incident when the shooting occurred has inexplicably been edited out of the footage provided by police. No report of him having been armed can be found.

Pickens County deputies were called to the home on the 200 block of Jay Moss Lane in Talking Rock, Georgia shortly before midnight for a fire and the sound of shots being fired.Deputies found the house on fire and met the homeowner, Frank Jerry Millsapps, holding with a shotgun. Millsapps began walking toward the deputy. The officer fired and so did Millsapps. Millsapps was shot and died in his driveway.

Henrico County deputies took Irvo Otieno to Central State Hospital on March 6 to admit him as a patient. Otieno died during the intake process. Police admit that he was “physically restrained” during transfer.
Otieno’s autopsy revealed that he died from asphyxiation due to extreme restraint. Ten officers were involved in the death of the unarmed man. The family is grief stricken after learning of the brutal nature of Irvo’s death and his inhumane treatment in the hours preceding his death’ Mark Krudys, an attorney for the family, said in a statement.

Madera County Sheriff’s Office said that on 03/13/2023, deputies followed Wilson through Fresno County into Madera County and a Fresno County helicopter chased him into Madera County on Road 225.
Wilson drove into the Sierra National Forest and fled on foot, abandoning his car on the side of the road. He allegedly ran miles into a “rural backcountry area” on foot with a helicopter following him. The SWAT team was able to hike out to Wilson where they fired at him and he shot back. Wilson was killed by SWAT in the Sierra National Forest.

Police allege that 51-year-old Janet Rabe locked herself inside her home on Cascade Terrace Drive on Monday afternoon after a shootout with police. Ballwin officers had previously tried to pull Janet Rabe over in connection with pointing a weapon earlier in the day. After being chased in different locations, she pointed a gun at police and she ran into a second St. Louis County police vehicle with her car. While fleeing to her home on Cascade Terrace Drive, she pointed the gun again and fired multiple shots at officers. Police chased her back into the subdivision where she locked herself in her condo. After being besieged by St. Louis PD and SWAT, she committed suicide under police duress inside of her condo.
