Fayetteville PD arrived at the home of Jada Johnson grandparents after a call of an attempted break-in. Johnson herself had called police and asked for help. When police arrived, they claim she held a gun. Police engaged her in a struggle, shot her 17 times, killing her. Her grandparents said that Jada, a young mom, had mental health issues and that there had been a burglary, but she had asked police for help before she was shot.
