West Memphis police chased Darin Woodard to question him about a prior homicide elsewhere. When he did not stop for police, they escalated an aggressive chase that ended when he crashed into an I-55 barrier wall. When police came after him, he jumped off and landed on the hard ground 60 feet below to escape from police assault.
