The girlfriend of Gabriel Mesa called Eddy County police and told them that he had pushed her, was drunk and had left with a gun. Eddy County deputies located him in a field and claim that he pointed a handgun. Police shot and killed him. No bodycam or eyewitness accounts can be found.
