Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office were pursuing a vehicle and escalated the chase and the pursuit was allegedly called off just before the vehicle crashed near Mill Road. The driver, a 27-year-old male, had non-life-threatening injuries and the 18-year-old passenger had died.
