Jacksonville deputies chased a woman who had abducted her daughter. Police knew there was a young child in the vehicle but nevertheless escalated a chase across 30 miles on I-95 at high speeds until the vehicle landed on the onramp of a pond and fell or drove into the pond. The mother was arrested while the child drowned.
