OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
A Port Orange officer sent on a mental health crisis call involving a suicidal man shot and killed the man. Police state he had a knife. Neighbors were quite shocked and all stated that he had been a “really nice guy.” As of 07/29/2024, police have still not publicly identified him.
