Aaron Earl Rattler, 27, of Garland, Texas, was the passenger in a vehicle that crashed on Hwy 277 in Jones County around 7:00 a.m. as a result of being chased by police. Rattler was pronounced dead at the hospital following the crash. Police had tried to pull the vehicle over for speeding and when the car did not stop, police escalated a high-speed chase leading to the crash and death of passenger Rattler.
