OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Flagler County deputies and SWAT arrived at a residence on Lake Charles Lane with a search warrant for Yairton Garcia. After several family members left the home, Garcia refused to cooperate, locking himself inside. A lengthy standoff followed, during which SWAT deployed an ICOR Mini-Caliber robot to deliver a phone to Garcia, but he refused to communicate. The robot was sent in again for surveillance, which revealed Garcia's death from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the bathroom. His death was ruled a suicide.
