On 10/08/2025, Eden Prairie Police investigators went to a residence in Chaska to question a man wanted for felony theft and property damage. While officers were speaking to a woman outside the home, they heard a single gunshot from inside. Officers entered and found the man with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. On 10/08/2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Baltimore County Police responded to reports of shots fired at a residence on the 2100 block of Larkhall Road in Dundalk. Officers reported seeing Robert Adams in a second-floor window and opened fire. The situation escalated into a barricade that lasted several hours. When officers entered the home two hours later, they found Adams with gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene. Two firearms were recovered near the window.

On 10/07/2025, Bradley Campbell shot and killed 32-year-olds Shelby Campbell and Emma Simms in Durango, Colorado. Following the double homicide, police initiated an intensive search during which he apparently died by suicide.

On 10/07/2025, deputies from the Garland County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a disorderly person on the 100 block of Ebony Way in Hot Springs. Upon arrival, they encountered 34-year-old Anthony Michael Dean, who was shirtless and carrying a shovel. Deputies said Dean approached them aggressively while holding the shovel. One deputy opened fire, striking Dean, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The Arkansas State Police are investigating the incident, and the case remains under review.
