OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Columbus PD made a traffic stop on a vehicle for undisclosed reasons. They allege that two teenage males exited the rear of the vehicle with guns. Police opened fire and killed a 17-year-old who remains unnamed.
The shooter officer who killed the boy, Officer Joshua Ohlinger, had previously shot someone else within a six-month period of this killing. Both victims were reportedly black men. Officer Ohlinger’s first shooting victim was 66-year-old Michael Cleveland, shot and killed with 6 bullets for running away from a traffic stop, whose story is also linked below.
Ohlinger was once again cleared by the DA for this killing.
