Dennoriss Richardson had been targeted by Colbert County Sheriff’s Office, deputies along with the Colbert County Drug Task Force and subject3ed to a home raid in February of 2024 and an allegedly brutal arrest. He filed a lawsuit against Colbert County police. He was found dead by hanging in the carport of an abandoned home on September 28, 2024. Police ruled it a suicide. His widow vehemently denies that he was suicidal and demands answers. The FBI is investigating. It is unknown how and why he died but as he was found by police and police involvement is deemed a possibility, the case is listed here until proven to be an unrelated actual suicide.
