OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said the Tactical Apprehension & Confrontation (TAC) Unit were serving an arrest warrant for armed carjacking, at a home on Jody Road and when detectives entered the home, a man fled to a bedroom. Shortly thereafter, detectives heard a gunshot behind the door. They called for the on-duty SWAT Team.
SWAT arrived, got no response, then entered the home and found the man dead from from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
