Pensacola PD stated that a police officer was investigating a hit-and-run incident at the intersection of 9th Avenue and Wright Street, which led him to the home on Durant Lane. The officer believed that the vehicle that left the scene may be at the home. Police arrived and theexchange was escalated into a physical altercation. Police shot and killed the man.
