A Goodyear PD officer with emergency lights ran a red light at unknown speed, hit and killed motorcyclist Jacob Vela. The officer’s speed was unknown. Police state that the officer had lights and sirens activated and Vela should have seen him. Then a bystander dropped video showing no lights and sirens were on \, that Vela had a green light and the officer went into the intersection against a red light without warning, killing Vela. Police have refused to release security video from a nearby business while a citizen anonymously submitted the video below.
