OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
A woman fled a domestic violence situation and went to a relative’s home with her child. The husband arrived at the relative’s home with a gun and forced the woman and child to come with him. Police located him in a vehicle and alleged that he pointed a gun and fired shots at them. Police called a helicopter and escalated a chase on the southwest freeway, engaging a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle. Police shot and killed the man. The woman and child were in the vehicle and witnessed the shooting, but we're physically unharmed.
