Adrián Hernández, a third party motorist, was killed after being struck by a vehicledriven by a teen trying to flee police in a stolen car in a West Valley City residential area. Police had chased after a stolen car with several teenagers and threw down spike strips. When the driver hit the spike strips, he soon lost control and crashed and killed unrelated motorist Adrian Hernandez.
