A vehicle sped through a red light at an intersection in Inwood at very high speed and crashed onto the sidewalk, killing two bystanders. Police were seen on foot within seconds at the crash site, but police deny that they had been chasing the vehicle which some eyewitnesses had claimed. NYPD continue to deny their involvement in causing this crash.
