Memphis PD allegedly observed unspecified “criminal activity” and began chasing a vehicle for it. MPD escalated a high-speed chase that ended when the vehicle crashed into three other cars and a pole. The driver and a passenger of the vehicle died. Six other people were injured and taken to the hospital. Police did not say why, they initiated the dangerous chase.
