Raytown police were dispatched to a QuikTrip after a dispute between Kenneth R. Williams and a security guard. Authorities allege Williams threatened to have explosives and firearms in his vehicle, which was parked at the station. When officers arrived, Williams had already left but returned shortly after. Despite verbal commands to stop, he reportedly entered his vehicle. The situation escalated, and police shot and killed him. Later, the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that explosives were recovered from his vehicle.
