Ascension parish deputies were called to a woman whose ex was supposed to pick up his belongings but did not show up. Police came and left. The man came later and picked up his belongings and a 1-year-old girl. Police chased him from Ascension Parish to St. James Parish when he shot and killed his daughter and then himself under police duress.
