Roswell PD arrived at a residence following a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Oak Drive, a cul-de-sac in West Roswell. According to the Roswell Police Department, 30-year-old Timothy Riley allegedly opened fire on responding officers. In response, officers returned fire, striking Riley once in the head. He was transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.
