OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
"Based on our investigation, the vehicle was traveling at a very high rate of speed on Suncrest," Jackson mayor Wade said. "The vehicle crashed, immediately was engulfed in flames and was literally divided, the impact was so high." The driver, Tina Carter Sawyer died as a result of the crash. Police vehicles were seen immediately after the crash, with eyewitnesses suggesting that the vehicle may have been chased into the fatal wreck. Police reportedly also kept driving after seeing the wreck that had occurred moments before and did not attempt to render aid. Police are investigating and have not commented.
