The South Carolina Highway Patrol initiated a traffic stop on James Blevins, 24, near Moncks Corner at approximately 9:40 p.m. on November 21, 2024. After the traffic stop, Blevins fled, and police escalated a high-speed pursuit. His vehicle eventually left the roadway and crashed into a utility pole, killing him.
