On 12/06/2024, at approximately 6:50 a.m., Titusville Police Department officers responded to a domestic violence incident near the intersection of South Washington Avenue and Country Club Drive. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Karl Christopher Gibson, the individual involved in the domestic disturbance. Police alleged that Gibson exited the vehicle while displaying a weapon. Officers fired shots, resulting in his death.
