On 12/17/2024, at approximately 2:46 AM, deputies from the Brevard County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1100 block of Egret Lake Way in Viera, Florida. Deputies alleged that the man was uncooperative and made unspecified verbal threats. He exited the residence holding a gun. Officers opened fire and killed him.
