Ollie Denise Rogers, 62, was reportedly experiencing a mental health crisis and was armed. Wakulla County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the scene and observed Rogers fire a long gun into the air before retreating into her home. The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Leon County Sheriff's Office Hostage Team and SWAT Team. After hours of a standoff, police escalated the situation. At some point, under unknown circumstances, officers opened fire and killed Rogers. Further details have not been disclosed.
