OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Wichita police officers received information that Gabriel Christian Seim was involved in prior drug sales and was driving a Toyota RAV4. Officers located him traveling northbound on I-135 and attempted to stop him. Seim did not stop, and officers escalated to a chase that continued as he exited onto 53rd Street North, heading eastbound. As a result of the chase, his vehicle collided with a GMC Sierra at the intersection of 53rd Street North and Hydraulic Avenue. Seim was pronounced dead at the crash site. The driver of the GMC sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
