OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Police attempted to arrest a man delivering methamphetamine. The man was later identified as 27-year-old Lamont X. Young of Cairo, Illinois. He fled in his vehicle, allegedly discarding drugs. As the chase continued into the intersection of Cairo Road and US 60, he collided with a Ford Explorer driven by 60-year-old Deborah Barge. Young and Barge died at the crash site. The Kentucky State Police investigated.
