Houston PD officers Novotny and Contreras said a man called about noise from a party and threatened to shoot and stab people because he said the music was too loud. Officer Contreras can even be heard commenting on the noise in the video."Wow, that is really loud," Contreras says. On BWC, police are seen to start demanding he drops a knife that is not visible in the footage. Hayes keeps moving forward. The officers shot and killed him.
