On 02/27/2021, a deputy from the Wadena County Sheriff's Office pulled over a driver in North Germany Township around 8: 45 p.m. A "struggle" broke out between the deputy and the driver, and then another driver arrived. An officer from the Sebeka Police Department showed up. There was reportedly an exchange of gunfire, and all four people in the struggle were shot.
