Officers from the Anaheim Police Department opened fire and killed a 30-year-old individual during an incident on the 1200 block of East South Street. The officers responded to a call about a possible robbery. They encountered an individual armed with what was later identified as a "realistic-looking replica firearm." The officers opened fire and killed the man, subsequently rendering first aid, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
