On 03/18/2021, Joseph Bougie, 32, and Michael "Mike" Murphy, 22, were killed when their BMW sedan crashed into a utility pole and tree near Sixth Street and Long Hill Road in Dover, New Hampshire. The vehicle became engulfed in flames after the crash. Dover Police had interacted with the individuals earlier, but officers stated they were not pursuing the vehicle at the time of the crash. Published evidence suggests Bougie and Murphy may have believed they were being pursued.
