Ashton Jashod Mingle died Sunday in a single-vehicle accident during a high-speed car chase initiated the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office after a failed traffic stop.
Police said Mingle was driving on a suspended license and was wanted on a felony warrant. Officer Walden escalated a chase that ended when As Mingle approached the Bulloch-Candler line, near Lotts Creek, accelerated and struck a bridge that caused his vehicle to crash into the water.

Police drove up, saw him with a gun and killed him before learning what was going on. A vehicle sped through a red light at an intersection in Inwood at very high speed and crashed onto the sidewalk, killing two bystanders. Police were seen on foot within seconds at the crash site, but police deny that they had been chasing the vehicle which some eyewitnesses had claimed. NYPD continue to deny their involvement in causing this crash.
