On December 28, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to reports of a man with a gun in the 23100 block of Burbank Boulevard in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. Police engaged in an unknown confrontation during which they shot and killed him. He had only an AirSoft gun on him and no serious weapons. LAPD's Force Investigation Division is conducting an internal self-investigation of the shooting.
