OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On February 20, 2021, Albuquerque Police Department officers responded to reports of a man walking in the street near Copper Avenue NE and San Mateo Boulevard NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Upon arrival, officers attempted to get the man, later identified as 40-year-old Claude Trivino, to move out of the roadway. Trivino reportedly did not cooperate with the officers' commands.

Police deployed a stun gun, but it was unsuccessful. According to reports, Trivino then came toward the officers. They shot and killed him.
