On 03/21/2021, at approximately 5:00 a.m., an officer from the Sylvania Township Police Department responded to a report of a residential burglary near Whiteford Road and Rudgate Boulevard in Sylvania Township, Ohio. Police state that Eduardo Parra ran away on foot and reached for his waistband and shouted that he had a gun. Police opened fire and killed him. Parra had been unarmed.
