Tyler Abel was a Minnesota prison guard at Stillwater shot and killed by police in St. Croix on June 3. Originally, his wife called 911 and reported that he was “out of control” and was on his way to “get his ARs.”
Abel left his home carrying a gun and a New Richmond police officer and a St. Croix County deputy shot and killed him. The killing was justified by the DA.
