On January 18, 2025, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department responded to a domestic disturbance in the 15000 block of Seventh Street in Victorville, California. According to the Sheriff's Department, a 30-year-old man was armed with a knife and threatening another person inside the residence. Deputies reported that the man advanced toward them while armed. Deputies opened fire, killing the man at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is investigating the fatal shooting in internal investigation.
