Palm Bay PD and SWAT arrived at a residence on Scotia Avenue SW on a domestic disturbance call where a man allegedly held family members against their will with a gun. After a lengthy SWAT siege, the man allegedly pointed a gun and was shot and killed by police. He was hit by 24 bullets. The father said that the man was having suicidal thoughts and needed help.
