EVENT NARRATIVE:
On 11/23/2021, Rockwall Police officers attempted to stop a white Chrysler 300 on Interstate 30 after determining that the vehicle was displaying a stolen license plate. The driver continued driving away, and Rockwall police escalated a pursuit eastbound on I-30 toward Fate.

When the pursuit entered Fate, Fate Police Department officers took over the chase from Rockwall Police. The Chrysler subsequently entered the interstate median, went out of control and struck a concrete culvert. The driver was killed in the crash and a passenger was injured.
