OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Officers responding to an unrelated call heard gunshots around 2 p.m. on June 25, 2021. They found Delshawn Wadlington, who had been fatally shot. While investigating, police received 911 calls about a man with a gun heading into Bee Creek Park. Officers saw Albert Finnie Jr. exiting a wooded area near the park and reportedly witnessed him pull out a handgun. Finnie allegedly started waving the gun around. An officer shot and killed Finnie.
