Police claim that he pulled a gun and they shot and killed him. It is not verifiable whether he pointed anything but the “gun” in his possession was a plastic toy replica. He had plans to get married the next day when he was killed. His fiancée said he had been severely attacked several months prior and had a head injury and his behavior had changed. He had been distraught, in pain, and had walked away from his family in despair over his medical condition when he came upon the officer who quickly shot him to death.
