Around 11 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance and encountered Jason Scott D'Ambrogio armed with a rifle. D'Ambrogio allegedly fired at officers, striking one Honey Grove Police officer in the leg. He barricaded himself in the home overnight. The following day, officers found D'Ambrogio dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
