On June 17, 2021, Moon Township police responded to a domestic disturbance involving John Geisler, 37, and his mother. Geisler threatened to shoot his mother and any officers who arrived. After fleeing the scene, he was located in his vehiclewith a gun and rammed a police car before fleeing again. A SWAT team surrounded his residence, and after several hours during which flash bang grenades were fired inside, Geisler was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Westward Street around 7 p.m. during a narcotics investigation when Jermaine Sonnier fled on foot. On June 16, 2021, Bessemer City Police Department officers attempted to serve arrest warrants on two individuals at a residence on the 100 block of Sunset Lane. While at the scene, officers identified Billy Jack Barker as another individual wanted on outstanding warrants. When officers attempted to take Barker into custody, he fled on foot.Officers pursued Barker for a short distance, repeatedly ordering him to stop and show his hands. Raabe then retreated inside the home. When additional deputies arrived, Raabe exited the home, initially put the rifle to his head, and then fired on deputies again, striking Sgt. Petty twice. Deputies opened fire, killing Raabe.

On 06/15/2021, Pennsylvania State Police attempted to stop Jimmy Nguyen near Route 248 and Jandy Boulevard in Nazareth. Nguyen did not stop and continued driving. Pennsylvania State Police escalated a chase that lasted until he struck a vehicle exiting Wegmans Drive and continued at high speeds through several municipalities. Near the intersection of Route 248 and Jandy Boulevard, Nguyen lost control, traveled into the opposite lane, clipped a Toyota RAV4, collided with a Mercedes SUV, and then crashed into a concrete barrier. He died in the crash. A bystander driver in the Mercedes was moderately injured. The officers involved were cleared of any wrongdoing.

Adam Michael Green, a 40-year-old White male, died on June 14, 2021, in Hermitage, Tennessee, following an encounter with Mt. Juliet Police Department officers. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting an "unruly guest" at a home. A woman claimed an unknown man had entered her home, was sweating profusely, destroying property, and not speaking clearly. Officers believed Green exhibited signs of a substance overdose or impairment. When Green became combative, officers tasered him, restrained him, and handcuffed him. On June 14, 2021, officers from the Parma Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Kevin Richard Giesel. On June 7, 2021, at approximately 2:10 a.m., Deputy Casey Newton of the Happy Valley Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Jeremiah Lee Wright for operating a motor vehicle without license plates. Wright did not stop. Deputy Casey Newton initiated a high-speed chase up to 100 mph that ended when Wright crashed into a fence at the intersection of SE 122nd Avenue and SE Eagle Glenn Drive.

On June 5, 2021, deputies from the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a location near LA-1034 and Vincent Road in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Upon the deputies’ arrival, Michael J. Knighten, a 32-year-old male, drove away in his vehicle. Police escalated a chase, during which Knighten made a U-turn, leading to a head-on collision with a deputy’s patrol vehicle parked on the shoulder of Highway 16 near James Street.

Police alleged that during the chase, Knighten caused the collision intentionally to die by suicide. On June 5, 2021, Mark A. Sousa, 44, was seen speeding in Mount Vernon, Maine. Police could not catch him and targeted him again when they saw him hours later elsewhere driving a Volkswagen Jetta on Burns Road in Augusta. He did not stop for a traffic stop. Officers from the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office and the Mount Vernon PD escalated a chase at high speeds until he ran off the road and crashed in the woods near the intersection of Bartlett Road and Wings Mills Road in Mount Vernon. The vehicle was empty, and his body was located in a nearby field. Police state that he was ejected during the crash. The Maine State Police investigated and justified the fatal pursuit.

On June 5, 2021, Burgaw Police stopped Kyle Edward Shorette, 49, after observing his white truck driving erratically near South Dudley Street. Shorette stopped in the parking lot of a Piggly Wiggly grocery store at 103 South Dudley Street.

An officer approached the vehicle, gathered Shorette’s information, and returned to the patrol car. While the officer was in the patrol car, Shorette used a firearm to fatally shoot himself inside his truck.

On June 4, 2021, police officers attempted to arrest 29-year-old Timothy Flowers in connection with a triple shooting that occurred in Sumner Park in May 2021. On 06/04/2021, at approximately 12:10 p.m., Whittier Police Department officers responded to a call reporting a person with a gun near a city dog park in Whittier, California. Upon arrival, officers determined that the individual had already left the area.
Shortly thereafter, another officer located the man on a city-maintained bike trail near the 12400 block of Mar Vista Street. According to police, the man allegedly pulled a handgun out of his pocket. The officer opened fire, killing the man.

On 06/04/2021, Braintree Police Department officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at an apartment complex located at 2 McCusker Dr in Braintree. Andrew Homen fled into the adjacent woods after the call. After a 45-minute search, a police K-9 unit located Homen. During the encounter, Homen killed the police dog and wounded an officer before being shot and killed by the police.
