OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On October 21, 2021, Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers were asked to perform a welfare check at a residence after Karissa E. Peronto, 27, failed to show up for work and did not respond to text messages. Upon arrival, officers heard a scuffle coming from the garage followed by multiple gunshots. After several unsuccessful attempts to make contact, a SWAT team placed a camera inside the garage, where they observed Karissa Peronto and 26-year-old Bryan Morales dead on the floor.
