REASON FOR POLICE CHASE:
Theft investigation. At approximately noon, Avon Police Department officers responded to a reported theft. Witnesses told officers that the people involved had already left but provided a detailed description of their vehicle and its direction of travel. Officers located the vehicle parked in the driveway of a nearby residence. While officers were attempting to confirm the identities of the people in the vehicle, Justin D. Murray drove through the front yard and away from police.
