On March 10, 2021, around 2:30 p.m., the Wells County Sheriff's Office received information regarding the location of a man wanted on a warrant near North Marzane Road and W 700 North in Markle, Indiana. Due to safety concerns, officers requested backup from the Indiana State Police. When officers entered the building, they discovered the man deceased from a gunshot wound.
